Like most of us I am guilty of first day shoe syndrome…Okay so that’s not really a thing but it should be! Like most I like buying a nice new pair of heels for a party, occasion or work. Common sense tells me I need to wear them around the house first, maybe with socks to stretch them a little but no, I never do that, I take them from the box and place them on my feet within hours.
Over the years I have suffered soooo bad with blisters, once to the point I was nearly crying driving home. Not good!!! Anyway a friend of mine suggested I tried Compeed anti-blister stick. having tired everything from Vaseline to every make of plaster known to man, nothing has worked so give the stick ago, what did i have to lose?. I applied the stick all around where my new (super cute ice cream) shoes were rubbing and like magic they stopped rubbing, still scepticalI wore my new shoes all day and was extremely happy to say I had no pain. Yippee!
The other week I really wanted to wear my new shoes to a concert, using my Compeed stick I drove two hours, danced all night with not a hint of pain.
I would recommend this to anyone This is no miracle, that burning feeling you get in the balls of your feet is still going to be there after several hours dancing but I can promise you that you won’t suffer blisters or rubbing.
