Free for the public to attend on November 17th from 10am – 4:40pm, the one-off collaboration between mima shop and a selection of unique, handpicked mini pop-up shops will thrill shoppers who are looking to seek a one-off gift that you can’t get on the high street.
Jane Metcalfe, shop manager at mima, is excited and enthusiastic about ‘mima collective’ and can’t wait to launch the new jewellery ranges.
She said: “This is the first solo event mima shop has ever held and I can’t wait to show off the new jewellery ranges alongside some of Middlesbrough’s best independents.
“After mima held ‘Fashion Rules’ in June I knew that I wanted to bring a mini version of that to mima shop and with Christmas soon approaching I thought it would be the perfect time to throw an Christmas gifts shopping event!” added Jane.
Launching at ‘mima collective’ will be designer jewllery from Ridley and Dowse and Cinderela B whose quirky and quaint designs will top any fashionsta’s Christmas gifts wish list.
Alongside mima shop’s hottest new jewellery range there will be several pop-up shops which will showcase Middlesbrough’s hottest independent designers, artists and stores.
Lisa Marie Murgatroyd who runs accessories and fashion business L’Marie can’t wait to showcase her on-trend looks at ‘mima collective.’
She said: “I can’t wait for ‘mima collective’ to showcase my new spring/summer accessories and fashion pieces that I’ve been working non-stop on. This opportunity will give me the chance to get my brand out there to a wide audience and hopefully it will be the start of something for me and my business.”
Chloe Hatfield, owner of Chloe’s CUTEicles, will be at ‘mima collective’ ready to turn fashionsta’s nails from drab to fab.
She said: “I’ve been working on loads of new designs especially for ‘mima collective’ including very chic graduated glitter nails and plenty of cute Christmas designs. At the event I will be giving people manicures as well as providing personalized stick-on nails for people to take way too.”
