Bootleg Market

Whilst in Austin we stumbled upon this amazing trailer, it’s a 28-foot Airstream trailer on 1318 S.Congress Ave and its pure bloody genius!
The Creative Director/Owner Sarah Ellison Lewis was born and raised in Austin but her fascination of fashion projected her to America’s heart of fashion NYC where she had a very successful career in Fashion for over 10 years.  I believe (from what her lovely friends told us) that Sarah wanted to pursue her dream of photography and fashion which resulted in this remarkable idea.

The Bootleg Market trailer (apologies, if this is not the correct term) is amazing; it’s a pop up trailer that sells amazing designer shoes sourced by Sarah herself from London, Paris & New York’s Fashion week, so you know all the shoes for sale are to die for!
I took many pictures of the trailer but I don’t think my phone can do it the justice it deserves, from the stylish photo’s that covered the walls to the displayed shoes, the whole ambience was a great experience.

As i had spent up before finding this gem a Tee is all i came away with, thanks to Marissa who bought it for me. :) however if i hadn't already spent a small fortune i would have returned with a couple of pairs of shoes!

    1. I know, right!

If we did this in the UK it could make the market-stall move to the 21st century and more people would shop there.
